Magic Bumpers are firm polyurethane foam wedges designed to go under the fitted sheet and mattress pad as a safer and easier alternative to traditional bed rails. The foam has a non-slip surface that stays in place when under a fitted sheet. Each foam wedge is 5 inches (13cm) wide and 5 (13cm) inches high and 24 inches (60cm) long. They are light biege in color and designed to be placed in pairs along either side of the bed. They fit any size bed because you can place as many as needed or easily cut off extra foam. It is easier to make the bed with the bumpers since the bed covers just go overtop of the bumpers. They are high enough to keep most children from rolling out of bed, but small enough to fit under a standard sheet. The foam is comfortable and easy for little ones to climb over. Magic Bumpers will work on beds where traditional bed rails just cannot attach, such as convertible cribs. There is no dangerous entrapment space and toddlers can easily climb over the bumper. Magic Bumpers are not for use in a crib unless the crib has been converted to a Toddler Bed for a toddler. Deep pocket crib sheets work best, but many customers are able to use their existing crib sheets. When your child is ready to transition into a big bed, the bumper can go along too. This makes the transition go smoother. Magic Bumpers are also a comfortable option for infant co-sleeping. Magic Bumpers are convenient for travel. The 50 liter nylon duffel bag has royal blue waterproof fabric with a drawstring closure, cord lock, interior storm flap and round bottom with 1" grab handle. This set includes the duffel bag and 4 Magic Bumper pieces which all together weigh just 34 oz. (2.2 lbs.) In accordance with State and US Federal Law for ALL bedding products, this product complies with California Technical Bulletin 117 for fire retardancy and is PBDE free.
